Day Tickets
Day tickets are valid on all lines including the night ones for an unlimited number of journeys.On Saturdays, Sundays and other non-working days, holders of basic DayTickets may travel with an adult companion and up to 3 children under the age of 18. Such a group of travellers must include at least 1 adult and 1 child.
They are offered for either just the zones 100+101, or for the whole network. If you are planning to travel more times during one day, then this type of ticket is the best option for you.
How to use the Day tickets?
Day tickets bought before the journey have to be validated in a ticket validator after entering the first vehicle on your trip. The ticket validators are placed by the vehicle entrance doors. In the case you travel by train the ticket validators will be located on the platforms and the tickets have to be validated before getting on the train. Until all ticket validators on the train stations are in operation you can board the train only with a ticket validated previously in another vehicle or with a ticket bought at the ticket desk at the railway station, which will have the time validity already printed on it.
You don´t have to validate the tickets bought immediately before the journey in the vehicle. These tickets are valid from the moment you purchased them and the time of their expiration is stated on them.

You can buy the Day tickets from:
- Ticket offices of Dopravný podnik Bratislava (city public transport operator), where they offer all types of day tickets
- Ticket offices of Slovak Lines (regional bus operator) at the bus station Mlynské Nivy, where they offer all types of day tickets
- Ticket offices of ZSSK (train operator), where they offer all types of day tickets
- Ticket machines at the city public transport stops, where you can buy 24 hour tickets
- Ticket machines in shopping centres, which offer all types of say tickets
- Newsagents shops where they offer all types of day tickets
- in the regional buses, where you can buy 24 hour tickets
