Students
Students travel for reduced fare. University students have the right to travel for reduced fare only if they are studying internally the first or second degree of university studies. The reduction is provided until the day before the student's twenty-sixth birthday. The right for the reduction can be proved by one of the given documents:
- a smart card issued by a school in the Slovak Republic
- a card issued by one of the transport operators
- an international student identity card ISIC valid for the school year it was issued for
The right for a reduction for students of primary and secondary schools ends on the last day of the school year for which they had a valid student card. The students in their final year of secondary school have a right for a reduction until the date of their final exam, latest until 30. June of the same school year.
